Lower Body Focuses


It starts with a comfortable stride length and 

"Peeling" our feet off the ground

Standing in a staggered stance with both feet fully on the ground ... the heels in particular ... lift the rear foot from the heel imagining we are peeling our foot off the ground.  

Relaxing our lower leg

Keep it relaxed, lifting the heel and with toes pointing down.

Leading with the upper body

Upper body moves forward with our legs providing a counterbalance by swinging toward the rear.

Allowing pelvic rotation

When relaxed we just let it happen.
